Basic Structure and Classification

Stamped couplers are manufactured using a stamping process. Their core consists of two movable parts, secured by bolts and nuts. Based on their connection function, they are mainly divided into three categories:

* Right-angle couplers: Used to connect two perpendicularly intersecting steel pipes, such as fixing scaffold uprights and horizontal bars.

* Swivel couplers: Used to connect two steel pipes intersecting at any angle, allowing adjustment of the pipe angle. Commonly used for connecting diagonal braces to uprights/horizontal bars.

* Butt couplers: Used for extending two steel pipes in the same direction, allowing for the splicing of pipe lengths, such as extending uprights or horizontal bars.

Core Features

* Compact Structure: Small size and light weight, with a single unit typically weighing between 0.8-1.2 kg, facilitating handling and installation.

* Highly Efficient Installation: Quickly tightened with bolts, requiring no complex tools, operable by a single person, significantly improving scaffolding erection efficiency.

High versatility: Compatible with commonly used Φ48mm or Φ51mm steel pipes in construction, it can be used in various types of scaffolding (such as coupler-type steel pipe scaffolding).

Controllable cost: The stamping process has high production efficiency, and the mass production cost is lower than that of forged couplers. It can also be reused, reducing construction costs.

Material and Production Standards

Core Material: Primarily uses Q235 low-carbon steel, which is stamped and then surface-treated with rust removal and galvanizing (hot-dip galvanizing or cold galvanizing) to improve rust resistance.

Execution Standard: Must comply with the national standard "Steel Pipe Scaffolding Couplers" (GB 15831-2006), which has clear requirements for key indicators such as tensile strength, resistance to damage, and anti-slip performance of the couplers.
